During our last-minute stay at the Salles Hotel Aeroport De Girona, I was pleasantly surprised by the hidden gem that awaited us behind its unassuming facade. The outdoor pool and poolside bar provided a relaxing oasis for our family after a long day of travel, and the shallow kids' section was an instant hit with my children. The staff's willingness to offer exceptional service, including a free airport shuttle and delightful morning coffee, made our brief stay even more enjoyable. Recognizing my professional interests, I relished the opportunity to unwind amid the local beauty while contemplating my next marine research expedition in the region. We will certainly consider returning to explore more of Girona and its rich culture in future family travels.
